This is a series of illustrations I did for the SF Bay Guardian's 2006 "Best of the Bay" issue. (The cover, and a full page at the start of each section).
The assignment was to show my vision of a future San Francisco, expanding on the Market Street Railway mural. So I depicted a post-global warming, post-fossil fuel, bioregionalist San Francisco, thriving within a different socio-economic system...
