Making the Botanical Mural

The Background is made of various layers: In the first, cool colors like blue and green are applied with thinned paint. The next layers are dry-brushed with thick, dense paint of warm colors. In some cases, the flowers are first rendered in chiaroscuro, and the color is glazed on top.
